Performed by Local Actors
The best loved of Charles Dickens’ books, “A Christmas Carol”, was first published as a novella the week before Christmas in 1843. It was an instant sensation, selling out before New Year’s Eve the same year. Many further editions were published and the tale was so popular that  Dickens created a pared down version for his public readings in 1853. We’ve adapted his condensed version into a four-part staged reading for you to enjoy this Christmas season.

Make an evening of it on Saturday, December 18th
